This month's challenge was a little different-- it was a NO RULES-- ANYTHING GOES month! This seems easy but trust me, with a new Stampin' Up! catalog out, it was a challenge. Where to start???
For the card, I got inspiration from the fact that we are leaving Charleston at the end of the summer (sad face) and I want to celebrate everything lovely about this historic town filled with hospitality. The pineapple is the symbol of hospitality and you can see it all over town-- on finials, gates, homes, etc. So Stampin' Up!'s new Pineapple background stamp is a perfect celebration stamp and then I watercolored it with some water spritzing! (The sentiment is from Confetti Celebration!)

| The project for this month was a little tougher for me but the beginning of summer marks a big trip for Marianne-- going to visit Gigi and Grandpa in Texas! Last year I found these blank books in the "dollar spot" at Target and knew they would come in handy at some point... I wanted to make an adult coloring book for Marianne to take on her plane trip! |  |
I stamped the cover with some lettering because Marianne asked me to and then I edged the sides with washi tape.
And then on the inside I gathered every cool lined image from the past few years that Stampin' Up! has made and stamped away! 14 pages later I thought "wow, I only want to make one of these" and "good thing I love Marianne"! But it turned out SO cute!!!
