But for now... on to my projects...
Happy crafting,
Melissa
What a fun kit this month! Welcome to our blog hop-- I hope you love all these alternative ideas. I need lots of treat packaging for Halloween (for my daughter's class, teachers, friends, conference I am attending on Halloween, etc) so I didn't want to cut up or alter these cute boxes...
I am super excited to get a few refill kits but I saw that we have the full kit for sale too. Did you know that you can get the kit if you subscribe? So, why not consider subscribing today and nabbing this cute kit!
But for now... on to my projects...
The minute I saw these cute skeletons I knew I wanted to do tone-on-tone stamping with them-- in Gorgeous Grape, of course! It's cool that the kit gave us extra skeletons and those little die cut headstones. I really love the teeny tiny "Happy Halloween" stamp!!! (The Glitter Enamel Dots make a nice addition, right?)
For my 3D project I was stumped, until I saw the black tissue paper in the box and remembered how to make tissue paper rosettes. You just fold the tissue paper back and forth and then cinch it carefully in the middle with ribbon. In this case, I used the pretty Purple Tricolor ribbon.
Trim the ends and glue the edges (carefully, tissue paper tears)...
I then used the starburst punch to make a medallion for the center. I figure this will make a cute Halloween decor item for our house!
And here are both projects together. Cute huh?
Don't forget to leave me some love in the comments and keep hopping to see more fun projects!
Happy crafting, Melissa
