For my card I knew I wanted to use the large scattered heart image to do some emboss resist and I think it turned out gorgeous! I added a Poppy Parade card base, half of a patterned card base to make the kit go farther, and then die cut with the Stitched Rectangles die a piece of Basic White cardstock. I heat embossed with Clear embossing powder the scattered hearts and then used a Blend Brush to add an ombre look with Pool Party on the front. Then I just stamped the LOVE in Memento Black ink on the bottom and made a little flag with one of the kit pieces with the YOU stamped in Poppy Parade. Stunning yes?
I haven't done it in years, but you just seal the envelope up, score on three sides at 1/2 inch, and then trim the top with some pinking shears. Once you have those score lines you can crease them back and forth and the stick your hand inside the envelope to make the bag. Fold the two bottom corners into points and anchor those down with a glue dot. It helps to put something heavy in the bag, like chocolate (wink wink) to weigh it down!
Don't forget to keep hopping along... I cannot wait to see what all my crafty friends have in store for us this month.
Happy crafting,
Melissa
