We were challenged to create a card and project that was "May showers" themed. This was another challenging month for me-- especially in the project arena. I don't love making "sad" cards but a project for this? Hmmm...
For the card, I got inspiration from the new catalog and the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Affectionately Yours set.

​Plus the Copper Embossing powder makes the stamp from the Pop of Paradise stamp set look divine! I was so fortunate that my upline, Candy Rattray, sent me some as a prize for one of our group contests (since she could get it at Onstage Live and I couldn't!) Everyone knows I love heat embossing-- the sound of the heat tool is a familiar one in my house... |
Now for the project I must admit that I CASED (Copy and Share Everything) from Brian King and Erica Cerwin who both have posted this simple NO GLUE pouch recently! I love fast and simple projects and this one hit the mark! A sweet tea bag for someone who is a little under the weather! The DSP is a retiring stack from the Cherry on Top series and is only $8 for 48 6x6 sheets! The colors are so cheery-- you can't help but feel better! (The stamp set is from one of the most popular Paper Pumpkin boxes EVER!)
