It's sometimes hard for me to make masculine projects but I have been flexing my masculine design muscles quite a bit lately and I feel that the new Annual Catalog gives me lots of options-- with the Tech Support stamp set (my husband is a software engineer), the grilling items in the He's the Man Suite, and some great outdoor vibes in several stamp sets, papers, and dies!
But this month, I want to feature one die set in particular. It could be one easy to overlook... The Rugged Icons Dies!

I ended up CASEing the catalog because I loved this card so much. My husband loves the mountains (we fell in love at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado) and I think this is a perfect card for him for Father's Day!
But you are going to need Adhesive sheets for the black pieces, the Take a Pick tool, and PATIENCE! You die cut the piece in Black cardstock with the Adhesive Sheet on the back and then run the die through with Starry Sky cardstock, Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, and Daffodil Delight.
Once the piece of Black is adhered to the vellum, you can put a bit of Tombow glue down and then using the putty end of the Take Your Pick tool lay down the sky, sun, mountains, road, and grass.
I changed the card a bit by adding a piece of embossed Old Olive with the Timber embossing folder.
