Welcome to the March edition of the Stampin Friends Blog Hop! Do you know what color combo I love most? Yep, a solo combo! lol! I do monochromatic cards ALL THE TIME so I was really pumped that we picked this theme!
I designed my card class last month all around the Sand and Sea Suite from Stampin' Up! and couldn't wait to show off the Designer Series Paper. This card base is made of just DSP (4 x 11 inch piece, scored at 2.75 inches from each end). I used Flirty Flamingo ink for the sentiment and the seashells (stamped off to give a lighter look).

What I really love is the look on the inside (so you can see the full spread of the DSP- I know that it's not quite monochromatic but... it's so pretty) and the Pearlescent paper as the inside piece. Ballpoint pens write great on it!
My 3D project is one of those ginormous Love You Always Treat Box-- it's so large it holds a Perfectly Posh Chunk Bath Bar or any other large soap bar! I trimmed away the excess pieces around a Flirty Flamingo embossed shell die cut from Seaside Seashells dies. I then wrapped a piece of the DSP around the box and attached the sentiment piece to the front!
