Thanks for hopping over here from Andrea's blog! She is just the best— we love running into each other at Stampin’ Up! conferences and I’m so thankful for her crafty friendship! The Christmas card Paper Pumpkin is always so popular... and this one is no different! I love the wreaths and all the gold pieces!
The gold and crumb cake card bases are gorgeous too! Plus the stamp set is amazing!
Last week I made one of the cards on my Facebook Live, just to show how quick they come together! I also put it on my YouTube channel! And that's where I talked about this cool item.
These are actually my Christmas gifts for subscribers this year- mason jar lids-- and they have such a great purpose in our craft rooms... You put it on a mason jar and then you can store all of the twine that you get in your Paper Pumpkin boxes! You just thread the twine through the holes in the top. It's functional and pretty!
Sometimes when we get floral images that I don't love I like to use them in repetition (like I did with the Wildflower Wishes Paper Pumpkin in April 2018). In this case, I didn't feel that the flowers looked very "Christmasy"-- so I decided to make a Valentine's Day card. All I added was a Crumb Cake card base and a piece of Whisper White cardstock plus a scrap of Just Jade ribbon I had.
Now make sure to keep hopping because this group has the best alternative projects I have ever seen!!!
If you loved this kit--- you can get refill!! But move quickly! They will sell out. You do have to be a current subscriber to pick up a refill kit.
Happy crafting., Melissa
