This month we knew that Shelli Gardner (Stampin' Up Co-Founder) would wow us with her shabby chic style but man, did they deliver. I almost didn't want to use up any of the supplies because I love the kit SO much! But alas, I did.

Each month the kits just get better and better-- and this one delivered with 12 notecards, three different ribbons, metallic birds, vellum feathers, foil lined sentiment pieces, gorgeous printed card bases and envelopes with liners! Seriously. I am just amazed.

Since this Paper Pumpkin coordinates with the new Bird Ballad suite in the new annual catalog, I had to use a few things and give you a sneak peek. Check out these cute scalloped edge notecards ($8 for 20, Item #149610) and the gorgeous Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper with just a touch of the Rose Gold Foil paper from the Everything is Rosy product medley. I used the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut out the hexagon pieces...
(One tip I will give is to NOT stamp both of the sentiments together... Stamp the cursive one first and then stamp the block print second.)

For my 3D project I decided to package up a small chocolate bar for a class hostess I am having soon. I took one of the envelopes from the kit, sealed it up, and cut off the top. I then scored around the other three edges and folded down the bottom. I used the tissue paper that came in the box-- so cute!! (Again, another small piece of the rose gold foil paper...)
Two great projects, right? I really love this kit and the stamp set!
