I stamped the leaf image on the front with Garden Green and the sentiment too!
Happy crafting,

Welcome to the blog hop for A Paper Pumpkin thing! It's such a pleasure to be part of this group! I was so excited about this kit- perfectly timed for our social distancing time and needing family cards!
The kit contained such cute elements and I love the simple fancy fold cards-- they really step up the projects! I also really love the center green piece that has the most lovely sentiment printed on it.
I wasn't sure I would have an extra project this month- I loved the kit as is and just couldn't think of an alternative, until I got Stampin' Up!'s COVID-19 Giveback PDF. For $12 you can download 15 pages of sweet and funny sentiment and images that relate to our time in self-isolation. 100% of the money that Stampin' Up! collects goes to either W.H.O. or United Way. You get to choose the charity or have them split it among the two charities. I used the sentiments on both of my projects this month! You can purchase it here (none of the money goes to back to us as Demonstrators either) and they have it in various languages too!
For my card I knew I wanted to feature the retiring Garden Lane Designer Series Paper. I cut a piece that was 12 inch by 4.5 inches and then scored it at 5.5 inches, 6 inches, and 6.5 inches. This leaves a tab in the middle, I felt like it would look like a "paper hug"! My sister in law has been self-isolating and having a hard time- so I think this card will cheer her up!
I stamped the leaf image on the front with Garden Green and the sentiment too!
Here you can see that small flap in the middle and how I printed and die cut with the Nested Labels Die the "Sending love & paper hugs" sentiment from the Giveback PDF.
Now for the project I pulled out something I had gotten at the Target dollar spot years ago and made a really cute little home decor piece for her so she knows she is loved! The tag is one of the images from the Giveback PDF as well!
Aren't these both really cute together?? I hope she will love them!
Refills of this kit are still available! And don't forget to keep hopping along on this awesome blog hop! Can't wait to see what everyone is up to!
Happy crafting, Melissa
