So my upline team is based out of San Antonio (Southern Sweet Stampers) and they have monthly meetings (if you are ever interested in going...) I usually FaceTime in and still swap with them!
But sometimes it is nice to meet with some local demonstrators... I met this group at a local event last year and both my downline and I like to go hangout with them. Many have been doing this for a very long time and they have some cool techniques to show!
This weekend's meeting was a swap to highlight the new catalog and chat about the catalog!
First up is Patti's card-- combines an old and a new stamp set- Butterfly Basics and You're So Sweet (new)! Look for it on June 2nd!
Michelle made the next swap and it features the new Bohemian Designer Series Paper (DSP)!
This next card features the Sheltering Tree stamp set (carrying over from the spring catalog) embossed in white and then sponged a bit! Pretty huh?
This card also features the new Bohemian DSP and a pretty new hostess set called Happy Birthday, Everyone!
The hostess sets in this catalog are fabulous! They will make you want to host a party-- remember I can do them long distance too-- FaceTime, catalog, Facebook!!
This card feature the pretty white jute ribbon which is also carrying over from the spring catalog into the annual catalog! Such a pretty and soft color combo!
Quite different from the vibrant new colors of Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, and Delighful Dijon! This paper is from a new paper stack called Cherry on Top (which now comes in a 6x6 size not 6x4)! And the new Ronald McDonald House charity stamp set Sprinkles of Life-- which comes with a matching punch - Tree Buildet Punch!
My swap was the yummy Night of Navy and Delightful Dijon color combo!!! I really love this stamp set - I Think You're Great! It's meant for kissing but lots of people are using it as a background stamp!
I got the chance to demonstrate the cute tote bag with matching notecards that you make with the diagonal scoreboard and scored some of the Bohemian washi tape for doing it!
Then one of the other ladies demonstrated this cool technique on glossy photo paper! We always have this laying around because you get samples all the time-- I'm excited to try it! Step by step instructions coming soon!
Don't forget to RSVP to my Bingo night event! It's going to be a blast! I was working on door prizes tonight!
Happy crafting,
Melissa
