Masculine cards are tough for me! And so are fancy folds! So why not tackle them together?? Ha!
I did a private class today (ask me about this-- I'll do the design and prep work; you enjoy the fruits!) and she really wanted masculine cards for her boyfriend and to learn a few "fancy" folds!
This first one is made of DSP (4 inches by 11 inches) with a paper insert to block the inside pattern and provide a place to write! Love this stamp from Big News! Isn't the font cool?
Next up a slightly girly one but its expressing our love, right? This is a retiring stamp that I have truly loved-- One Tag Fits All! I might not let this one go...
Now this one is a strip of DSP that is 4 inches by 12 inches and is the folded in thirds on the four inch marks. Then each outer flap is scored on the diagonal to make this cool fancy fold!
Thank goodness Oh My Goodies isn't retiring! I love the framelits that go with this set... But I sure will miss the Maritime DSP! I might have to buy an extra pack!
This fancy fold is just folded in half, then half again on the front and fold down...
Same concept with this fancy fold except it is folded to the left! And this stamp set I am surely not letting go of-- Big on You is an amazing one-stamp stamp set that has four large scale images that's work great by themselves on a card front. I thought, for sure, that this set would carryover to the Annual Catalog but alas...
Let's enjoy it while we can!!!
And my last one isn't a fancy fold at all... Ha! I must have forgotten my theme but I was excited to use our smaller scale notecards with matching envelopes! The Amazing Birthday stamp set is a true winner and I'm happy to say that it is sticking around! The paper is going though... Birthday Bash DSP
So, not too bad for tackling two challenges at once huh? Remember, if there is something you want to create and you want a private class-- just let me know!
And do we like my new photo location? Anyone want to guess where it is?
Happy crafting,
Melissa
