I am so excited to join some of my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators on this Jewish Blog Hop. Let me first say that although I am not Jewish, I was raised to respect all religions and I have several friends who are Jewish, so these holiday blog hops are special to me.
Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year and involves not only rejoicing but reflecting. The card I made is being given to a special friend who is retiring this month from our old office and has lots to rejoice and lots to reflect upon.

I was so excited to be able to use the July Paper Pumpkin named Picnic Basket for this project. Apples are traditionally eaten during Rosh Hashanah because of their healing properties and they symbolize hope for a "sweet" new year.
The sentiment is stamped using the Make a Difference Photopolymer stamp set and means "good year." I love that I can use the stamp set to make whatever sentiment I want!
