Welcome to the blog hop through Crafty Collaborations called Stampin Dreams! This month we are focused in on scraps and if you have been following me for a while, you know this is a LOVE of mine! I love a good scrap challenge. For me, that means dumping out my scrap bucket and seeing how many cards I can make from it!
For this month, I have been saving these tiny scraps from the Sunshine & Rainbows paper from our last Sale-a-bration! I really loved that paper and I wanted a way to showcase each and every piece on one card front! But you could do this with ANY paper you love!
For this month, I have been saving these tiny scraps from the Sunshine & Rainbows paper from our last Sale-a-bration! I really loved that paper and I wanted a way to showcase each and every piece on one card front! But you could do this with ANY paper you love!
This card was easy to make-- slimline card base (8.5 inches by 7 inches, scored on the shorter side at 3.5 inches) of black cardstock. Then I took 1/2 inch strips of DSP and covered a piece of Basic White cardstock that is 3.25 x 8.25 inches with some little gaps. I let them hang over and then trimmed them off! Then I die cut out the letters with the Here for You dies. You could also die cut out a saying with the retiring Alphabet letter dies (sad face...) I like the way that the black card base is exposed and makes the lettering POP!
I added a few of the retiring Artistry Blooms Sequins (so sad to see those going!) Don't forget to keep hopping along to see what others have done with their scraps!
