This month's challenge was hope/strength/courage!! I cannot think of a person who needs more strength than the teachers of our children! Marianne will start school on Monday, August 22nd at her new elementary school (2nd grade)!! And we are excited to meet her new teacher tonight at Meet the Teacher night!
For the card, I got inspiration from our newest paper stack in the Holiday Catalog (Warmth & Cheer) which has two really cute star patterned pieces that made for a cute welcome back to school card and treat box!

I know this sentiment from Layering Love is really meant for a baby card, but I really love it for teachers too! Each child that comes into their classroom has such an impact on them. I really love this color combo too-- Delightful Dijon, Dapper Denim, and Real Red.
Wondering what I stamped on? I love using Project Life cards for cards, tags, etc. and we are lucky to have on the clearance rack the Project Life card kit (Seasonal Snapshot 2015) from last fall that includes school days, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas-- and it makes gorgeous cards!

The inside is a Project Life card too-- just trimmed a bit and then used the sentiment from the You've Got This stamp set! Cute, right?
We will be mailed a letter tomorrow with her teacher's name so I am hoping to personalize this and have her sign it too!
Now, for the box, I think it needs to hold a tasty chocolate, right? I made it with the box punch board and markered the pencil.

The ribbon is Dapper Denim ruched ribbon and the sentiment is from a favorite: Kinda Eclectic! But it all comes together to make for a nice touch, right?
