We were challenged to create a card and project that was black, white, and one other color. This is very difficult for me as I am more occasion-driven than color driven. We have lots of black and white papers that inspire me but I really love the Go Wild Paperstack-- which seems odd since I don't like animal prints but there are many versatile prints in this stack!
So, I combined that with my other new obsession-- the Sale-a-bration item of Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Card collection! These cards are gorgeous and the catalog does NOT do them justice-- look below- gorgeous acetate and resist cards that take color and ink gorgeously!
So, what card did I create? I wanted to heat emboss one of the acetate cards and was able to use the Dream Big sentiment from Enjoy the Little things stamp set and emboss it in gold. That mounted on top of a piece of the Go Wild paper in Tip Top Taupe and you have a gorgeous simple card! This card is neutrals at their best.
For the project I wanted to include a little splash of color with Watermelon Wonder! The bag was made with a piece of the Go Wild paper and then I punched a piece of the resist heart embossed paper from the PL card kit with the Note Tag punch and stamped it with black ink and "wish" from the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set. Then I mounted a small piece of white card stock punched with the Washi Label punch and stamped with the hearts from the same stamp set! Just adhere some Watermelon Wonder sequin trim and a clip from last month's Paper Pumpkin kit and it's a fabulous tiny treat bag!
