Welcome back to the blog hop for Stampin' Friends in 2016! I totally believe that it HAS been a month since I blogged. It has been a busy month getting Marianne settled in school, getting myself settled into teaching, and getting us all settled into this new routine. Me being home more has been great and challenging- all at the same time!

This month's challenge was back to school or fall! I love FALL. I had a Pumpkin Spice Latte this week and have already eaten two boxes of Pumpkin Spice Life cereal! Pumpkin patches, candy, football, sweaters, cooler weather. So, here we go-- the kick-off to fall is Halloween, at least in my mind!
For my card this month, I wanted to create a skeleton that glowed! Stampin' Up!'s new Emerald Envy Glitter embossing powder looks fabulous embossed on black cardstock! And the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set is so stinkin' cute!

And if you add some cute lettering from the Layered Letters stamp set and a background from the Halloween Night DSP-- bingo-- super cute Halloween card. Which is getting mailed to my Mom who shares my love of Halloween (she made all my costumes until I was WAY too old to be trick or treating, but did it anyway)!
| So, for a fun Halloween project I went to Target and shopped the Dollar bin... and found these really cute black paper box coffins! Decorated with a Dracula from the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set and voila! Super cute gift for a teacher! I found some DARK KitKats that are tasty and fit in the coffin! (The sentiment is from last year's Paper Pumpkin box-- we always get a cute Halloween stamp in the September kit!) |  |
 | Don't you love this little guy? I added some touches of gold with the Wink of Stella Gold brush pen. He is so easy to color in and I can bet that Marianne's Girl Scout Brownie troop will love using this stamp set and the matching punch! So fun!! |
