I was so inspired by Stampin' Up!'s Country Lane Designer Series Paper-- I have loved playing with it this fall and knew I wanted to make a simple card featuring the cotton blossoms-- which we see a lot of here in Texas!
Happy crafting,
Melissa
Welcome to our Stampin' Friends Blog Hop! We are so happy you are here and joining us for this fall, thankful, Thanksgiving edition. You will most likely see a wide variety of projects from us all since we are spread out all over the globe and fall looks very different in each part of the world. You came here from Jenny's blog but make sure you keep clicking through to the next so you can see everyone's terrific designs!
I was so inspired by Stampin' Up!'s Country Lane Designer Series Paper-- I have loved playing with it this fall and knew I wanted to make a simple card featuring the cotton blossoms-- which we see a lot of here in Texas!
Adding in the woodgrain and the cable knit textures to this card, with a touch of the Galvanized Metal paper, the Galvanized clip, and the Braided Linen trim just finished it off! Plus this card uses three of my favorite warm fall colors- Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso. And it is super freezing and rainy here-- so this card really warms my heart!
Now for my 3D project I knew I had to make one of my cute espresso cups. These are super popular at craft fairs and I always get asked how to make them. So here are some step by step directions and then scroll down for the finished product!
I love how I can put a K cup in there, candy, or both! These make super sweet teacher gifts-- in fact I have a private class scheduled in December to make some with a few other moms! Ask me about scheduling a private class for you and your friends!
Today at 2pm (Thursday, October 18th) I will go live on my Facebook page to show you how to make one... Come join us or catch the replay!
Again, thanks for checking out my project and make sure to keep hopping so you can get inspired this fall!
If you are interested in the cute coffee cups, I have posted a link below!
Happy crafting, Melissa
