For me, summer is filled with busyness- summer camps for Marianne, trips to see family, and lots of fun in the sun! This also means that I need easy, which is where Stampin' Up!'s fabulous kits come into play.
The Calligraphy Essentials kit is such a pretty kit, with supplies to make 16 cards plus tons of practice sheets for your brush lettering. There is also a beautiful stamp set that partners with the kit and can extend the life of the kit! Check out the kit cards below, with their beautiful envelopes! I have been using the stamp set and practicing my brush lettering all this month... These are cards that I made for two swaps (20 of each) so I think I am getting pretty good but I still need the stamp to guide me! (Sorry for the bad pictures on these...)

I was so excited to then use the stamp set in conjunction with the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper, which features this adorable SLOTH, who is smiling, of course!!
I embossed the lettering in our new Black Embossing Powder and then lightly used the Aqua Painter and Old Olive ink to give it some life.
Now, what's inside the vellum bag I made? A puzzle! Thank you to my friend and fellow demonstrator Miriam for the idea!
Made with the Animal Expedition DSP, Puzzle Pieces Thinlits, and the Animal Outing stamp set with the Black Embossing Powder! I mounted the DSP on Whisper White cardstock, heat embossed it, and then cut it out with thinlit!
Marianne is so excited to play with this puzzle! I hope you love these projects and I can't wait to see what Jenny has created! Keep hopping and please comment below! I love to hear your thoughts...
